Made for the way South African labels are converted
We make dies for label work that has to run properly on press, shift after shift. Our range includes rotary solid dies, flexible magnetic dies and magnetic cylinders, all produced to suit the job, the stock and the press conditions your line is actually working with. Whether you are running short label batches for Durban retail, food and beverage work for Johannesburg, or long repeat runs for Cape Town, the goal is the same: clean cut, accurate registration and less waste.
Our clients come to us when they need precision dies for pressure sensitive labels, repeat work that must match existing tooling, or replacements that need to land fast. We work to tight tolerances, check the practical details and keep the focus on what matters on press. If a die is out by even a small margin, the trimming, stripping and final product all suffer, so we build and check for real production conditions not just drawings.
- Rotary solid dies for demanding label runs
- Flexible magnetic dies for versatile converting work
- Magnetic cylinders for compatible press setups
- Repeat matching for existing tooling and long term production
Who we serve across the label market
We work with label printers, converters and production teams across South Africa who need dependable tooling and practical support. Some clients are large-volume operations with multiple press lines. Others are smaller converters handling short runs, urgent jobs and special formats. Across both types of customer, the requirement stays the same: the die must suit the press, cut to spec and reach site ready for production.: the die must fit, perform and arrive on time.
From our base in Wadeville, Germiston, we support clients in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Pinetown, Cape Town, Bellville and Gqeberha. We also serve surrounding industrial areas where label production is tied to tight dispatch windows and customers expect steady supply. In South African production, delays cost money, especially when load-shedding, transport schedules or municipal issues already create pressure.
- Label printers needing repeatable tooling
- Converters handling retail, industrial and FMCG labels
- Production teams replacing worn dies or cylinders
- Clients needing local support in major metro areas
How we handle each order from drawing to dispatch
Every job starts with the details. We review the specification, the repeat history if there is one, and the practical requirements of the press. Our team handles die design, CAD proofing, bearer setting, magnet checks and press trial support where needed. If a job calls for cylinder refurbishing, die regrind or an urgent remake, we plan it around the actual production deadline and not a loose estimate.
Our production workflow is set up to reduce avoidable errors. Nirasha Ramdass prepares CAD work, Thandiwe Nkosi manages production, and Siyanda Letsoalo leads the machine shop side. Ruhan de Beer supports technical sales and job scoping, while Anele Mthembu handles dispatch coordination so packing and delivery line up with the client’s receiving process. Marius Jacobus van der Merwe oversees the business and keeps the standard where it should be, on accuracy, turnaround and consistency.
